ZMDI Smart Power Management Enables Energy Efficient Solutions

High-speed system electronics in telecom switches, network routers, base stations, servers or storage equipment  draw higher current while computing power continues to increase. This development drives the need for energy efficient power supplies that utilize more sophisticated control techniques.

ZMDI’s Smart Power Management (SPM) Technology enables customers to achieve higher energy efficiency across all output loading conditions to meet the latest energy standards. At the same time, ZMDI SPM improves on traditional analog solutions by simplifying  monitoring for system power and thermal management in point-of-load (POL) power supplies. 

Energy Efficiency Technologies

ZMDI has developed energy efficiency technologies used in our products. The Low-Power-Idle-Technology  is used in the ZSI21013 and ZSC31014 to reduce idle current down to 0.1uA and 0.5uA. This helps reduce the power in sleep mode and extends battery lifetime for mobile or portable products.
