ZMDI employ Six-Sigma as basis for all its Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
The Executive Vice President Operations & Corporate Quality supervises the corporate initiative as Executive Management Champion, since the program is of key improtance for the whole ZMDI group.

ZMDI launched the Six-Sigma Initiative in 2004. Currently 56 Six-Sigma projects have been successfully terminated. Throughout the company 154 employees and managers achieved the Yellow Belt degree and 54 passed the Green Belt training.

Currently ZMDI is preparing for the Black Belt Graduation and Certification. In order to push ZMDI further, an area specific approach is persued and six mangers are trained to become graduated Black Belts.
