Exec. VP Worldwide Sales & Marketing, Business Development & Corporate Strategy
Frantz Saintellemy joined ZMD AG in August 2011 as Executive Vice President Corporate Strategy and Business Development and Sales North America. He was most recently Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Corporate Vice President of Technical Marketing at Future Electronics, a global distributor of semiconductors and passive, interconnect and electro-mechanical components. Prior to joining Future Electronics, he held various product line management positions at Analog Devices (ADI). Frantz Saintellemy holds a BSEE from Northeastern University, an MSEE from MIT and a BS in Commerce and Marketing from HEC (University of Montreal) and has completed various engineering leadership development programs from MIT Sloan.
Business Line Manager Sensing and Automotive
Frank Schulze joined ZMD AG in 2001 as Development Manager Infrared ICs. In 2002, he was promoted to Business Line Manager for infrared products. Since 2005, Frank has been Business Line Manager for the business line for automotive products. In his current assignment as BL Manager for Sensing and Automotive, he is responsible for the operative management of the business line, including profit and loss responsibility, as well as for the strategic development of the product portfolio offering sensor intelligence and interface solutions which enable and support energy efficiency in automotive, medical, industrial and consumer applications. Prior to joining ZMD AG, Frank worked at AMI Semiconductor in San José, California. Frank holds a communications engineering degree from the University of Rostock.
Business Line Manager Power & Analog
Bernhard Huber joined ZMD AG in October 2007 as Business Line Manager. He is responsible for managing profit and loss of the Business Line Power & Analog, including sales, marketing, research and development. In addition to leading ZMD AG’s analogproduct strategy, he is also in charge of the Smart Power Management business, a key pillar of the company’s "Pink is the new Green" energy efficiency strategy.Bernhard Huber holds a degree in electrical engineering from the senior technical college (FH) Munich.
Executive Vice President Operations and Corporate Quality
Dr. Michael J. Ohletz joined ZMD AG in 2006 as Vice President Product Quality. Prior to his engagement with ZMD AG, Dr. Ohletz held top management positions at AMI Semiconductor in Belgium, a NASDAQ registered world leader in semiconductor supply of automotive, industrial, medical and structured digital products. As a corporate management member, he managed the European Quality and Reliability (Q&R ), Corporate Customer Quality and Analysis Centre organizations in Asia, Europe and North America. Before joining AMI, he held various positions at Alcatel Microelectronics in Belgium. In 1989 Dr. Ohletz received the Dr.-Ing degree in Electrical Engineering for a thesis on a hybrid built-in self-test technique from the University of Hannover, Institute for Electrodynamics. Dr. Ohletz holds an Ing. (grad) degree from the senior technical college (FH) Osnabrück and an engineering degree from the University of Hannover.
Technical Director
Richard Schmitz joined ZMD AG in January 2008 as Chief Analog Architect and was promoted to Technical Director in January 2010. Mr. Schmitz started his career as Quality Management Engineer at Hewlett-Packard and supported the Institute of Microelectronics Stuttgart in research projects and Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm as an ASIC designer. Prior to joining ZMD AG, Mr. Schmitz held various positions at Dialog Semiconductor, including Vice President Engineering and Vice President Advanced Technologies from 2006. Mr. Schmitz holds a communications engineering degree from the University (FH) of Trier.
