Thilo von Selchow was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of Mikroelektronik Dresden AG (ZMD AG) in 1999. He successfully repositioned the state-owned enterprise as a growing privately held semiconductor company with a focus on analog mixed-signal ICs for power management, lighting and sensing in the field of energy efficiency.

Between 1991 and 1999, Mr. von Selchow held several top management positions in the Heitkamp & Thumann Group (H&T). Under his leadership, the Battery Component Group of H&T became a world market leader in its segment (€175 mio revenue).
Prior to joining H&T, Mr. von Selchow worked as an investment manager in the Matuschka Group’s Private Equity Fund, at that time Europe’s largest management buyout (MBO) fund (€250 mio).
Mr. von Selchow holds a degree in economics from the University of Munich.

As one of the founding members of Silicon Saxony e.V., Europe’s largest microelectronics cluster, Mr. von Selchow has been the association’s president for six years.
Mr. von Selchow serves as Chairman of the Board at Novaled AG, a leading startup company in Dresden in the field of OLED (organic LED) technology and products.

Prior to joining ZMD AG in 2005 as Head of Finance, Controlling and Treasury, Steffen Wollek had worked for several SMEs in Berlin, being responsible for corporate finance, international accounting and controlling.
In 2002 Mr. Wollek joined BIOTRONIK as Director of Finance and Controlling. BIOTRONIK is a pacemaker company in Berlin with more than 3,000 employees, 60 foreign subsidiaries worldwide and €500 million turnover.
Mr. Wollek holds a diploma in business administration from the Technische Universität Berlin and also studied international business at the University of Berkeley in California. After successfully running his own start-up company, Mr. Wollek held top positions during four years with Wollert-Elmendorff Deutsche Industrie-Treuhand GmbH, which later became a member of Deloitte & Touche, one of the big four international auditing companies. During these years, he gained experience with well-known international companies such as BASF, Höchst, Philipp Holzmann, DZ Bank and the Treuhand-Anstalt.

Mr. Wollek was promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of ZMD AG in 2007. Since then he is also responsible for IT, Procurement and Logistics. In 2009 Mr. Wollek was appointed as a member of the executive board.
